Romance Blooms
There is something innately romantic about college love. Rashmitha and Vignesh’s campus love story, too, is nothing short of a fairy tale.
They met each other at the engineering college, where they went to pursue their academic aspirations. It was love at first sight and their first love, too!
Slowly, the admiring glances and the steadily growing fondness turned to a full-fledged love story. It’s not that they didn’t face challenges. But they stood with each other through thick and thin, surviving the unsteady waves of a typical college romance. And by the time they completed their courses, they realised they were made for each other and wanted to spend their life as a couple.
Treasure-Worthy Moments
The Tamil wedding rituals kick-started with a beautiful Sangeet held at the Four Seasons. The beautifully decorated stage at Taj West End added to the allure of the evening. The gorgeous bride, Rashmitha, wore a pink and turquoise Anita Dongre lehenga and the groom, Vignesh, was dapper in his black suit. The couple cut a cake to celebrate the evening, and the celebrations began.
There were energetic dance performances by friends and family members. The stage was decorated in a strikingly beautiful manner, and the families performed lovely dances. The stage saw some nice and emotional moments like father-daughter dance, couple dance, and grandma performing some fun moves.
Rashmitha was impressive with her deft moves and expressive groove, while Vignesh encouraged her with applauses and hoot. Vignesh, too, later joined her on the stage, and they danced together, delighting one and all. We had a gala time capturing all those treasure-worthy moments in their entire splendour.
Picture-Perfect
The Haldi saw the young couple in yellow ethnic attire, which they paired with stylish shades. As the couple was seated on a decorated swing, the air was filled with fun and chatter. The relatives and friends of the families poured Haldi water on the couple showering their blessings, which was total fun!
Rashmitha looked stunning in a dark pink lehenga for the Mehndi. After beautifying her hands with Mehndi in striking designs, she was made to sit on a festooned swing that matched her attire with green cushions.
Families, bridesmaids, and all those assembled adorned their hands with beautiful Mehndi designs. The occasion also offered us an opportunity to do a couple of shoots on the lawns, and no need to mention that the photos turned out to be flawless.
Magical Wedding
The wedding venue has a great significance on a wedding morning. The bride, groom, families – everyone needs to be relaxed and free from botheration of food and logistics. A beautiful venue enhances the whole experience and, of course, can make for better photographs.
The dawn was one of the most beautiful sights at Taj West End, Bengaluru. The guests enjoyed the first rays of the sun amidst nature in the company of chirping birds.
As the sun shone brightly, Rashmitha looked resplendent in a dazzling red saree and green blouse, with elegant embroidery work. She chose to wear her grandmother’s five-decade-old heirloom jewellery for the muhurat. Rashmitha shone like a bright jewel bedecked in antique jewellery and heavy silk.
The exquisitely manicured Prince of Wales lawns at Taj West End looked like a heavenly backdrop for the dream wedding. The mandap was set in the sprawling garden with plants and flowers spread over 1,000 plus square metres. A canopy was erected, and decorated seats were placed for the couple.
The flower canopy, Phoolon Ki Chaadar, made Rashmitha look like a princess waiting for her prince as her brothers and friends guided her to the mandap.
As the groom dressed in traditional wedding attire set out for Kashi yatra, one of the important customary Tamil wedding rituals, the members from the bride’s family stopped him, offering the hands of the bride in marriage. The groom happily accepted it and returned to the wedding venue to take the marital vows.
The wedding was a traditional affair with loads of fun. As the groom tied the mangal sutra around the bride’s neck, there were happy tears in many eyes. After garlanding each other, the couple played some fun games encouraged by their relatives and friends. There were hugs, kisses, and moist eyes, all around! The happiness was contagious.
We clicked them all -from excitement and joy to the heartfelt moments of a magical wedding, complete with all the Tamil wedding rituals! As we captured those timeless moments, the guests felt they couldn’t get enough of how happy the couple looked with their thousand-watt smiles.
Arriving each day to their smiles made the entire team feel at home and less we talk and the more you see , you will know what we mean :)
