Pre-Wedding Photoshoot, Pondicherry: A Couple Shoot In The Lanes of The French Quarter

It was the summer of 2013. Mirasha and Colin met at a party they both reluctantly came to, on a Monday night.

The thing about Monday night parties is that they require a person with the power of persuasion to convince people around them that it's a perfectly good idea. Mirasha and Colin had a friend in common, Arnaud Garcia, and skilled he was.

Although they both showed up grudgingly there have not been many days since, that Colin and Mirasha have spent apart. See More Pre Wedding Photoshoots here.

We shot this lovely Indo- French couple in the beautiful Pondicherry house that Miasha grew up in and also on the colorful streets of Pondicherry. Have a look :).

Pre Wedding Photoshoot, Bangalore: A German Love Story Captured In The Streets And Gardens Of Bangalore

It is not everyday you capture the love between two adorable Germans on the streets of India.

Kim and Sebastian were a thrill to shoot with. We shot outside the blue walls of the by-lanes of Commercial Street, inside the bamboo grooves of Cubbon Park and atop a scooter borrowed from the security guard. :)

Is there a  better way to remember a country than to fold its memories into the pages of your love story.

An Exquisite & Grand Marwari Wedding in Bangalore

This princess met her prince charming when they were 16! The beautiful fairy-tale love story of Nikita and Karneet started while exchanging notes in school and only grew from there. The couple travelled on the waves of long-distance and sailed through gloriously.

The wedding celebration of the charming couple Nikita and Karneet at The Leela Palace, Bangalore was a grand affair. The blending of Punjabi and Marwari cultures and traditions, the gorgeous decor amidst picturesque locations and the warmth of love - everything has been beautifully captured through our lenses and will remain in our hearts forever.

Their wedding saga was a 4-day celebration filled with rituals, fun, laughter and lots of blessings!

Day 1 - The Cocktail Bash

With joyful faces, carefree dancing and thrilling energy, this ravishing cocktail party was a blast. While Karneet looked debonair in a black tux, Nikita slayed in a shimmering black attire.

The bride and groom danced their hearts out with scintillating moves. To top it all, the bride's grandma stole the show as she danced on the Punjabi Dhol Tasha.

Day 2 - Mehendi By The Pool

The Mehendi ceremony was filled with dance, music and lots of drinks. The ceremony was held at poolside in the Leela Palace. The bride and groom looked feisty as they colour coordinated in peacock blue and pepped up the wedding photography.

With colourful decor and the poolside ambience, everyone looked stunning, donning bold colours. The ceremony was all fun and frolic as the guests enjoyed putting Henna and posing with the happy bride.

Day 3 - The Engagement Day

The engagement venue was Karneet's farmhouse. The scenic and captivating view complemented well with the floral rose-and-lily décor. Nikita and Karneet were gleaming with joy as they entered holding hands amidst the natural lush greenery all around the place.

Karneet went down to his knees and proposed to his childhood love, and we were all in awe. It was heart-warming for us to see the family's joy when the couple exchanged their rings. The fun continued when the groom and his squad rocked the stage with their desi moves.

Nikita’s dear father made his daughter's day a little more special by singing Pehla Nasha for the lovely couple. The entire crowd swayed their arms , grooving to the lovely song.

Karneet and Nikita took a vibrant pre-wedding couple photo-shoot amidst the green farms and clear blue sky, wearing pastels with a wide, warm smile.

Day 4 - The Wedding Vows

The wedding day began with the Punjabi Chooda ceremony where Nikita's uncle put Red Chooda in her hands as a symbol of luck and goodness for her new beginnings. We captured some delightful close-knit moments that the family enjoyed together before the grand Indian wedding photography.

The bride rejoiced as she posed for the camera at her Haldi ceremony. Her family made sure to pamper and tease the lovely bride. As the Haldi ceremony ended, it was time to doll up for the D-day!

The extravagant wedding was nothing short of a royal affair. Prince Karneet came in a vintage car to be wedded to Princess Nikita. The Baraatis were auspiciously welcomed by the bride's tribe who sprinkled rose petals on their path as they walked in.

Nikita's mom did the cute Marwari tradition of Naak-Khichai by pulling Karneet's nose. The bride felt happy and blessed to be married by the same Panditji who got her parents married too.

The wedding rituals were amusing to capture as a singer sang songs for every ritual while explaining its importance. The bride's family tried to not cry at the Bidaai and wore a warm smile during the sendoff.

We had an amazing time shooting this beautiful wedding of Nikita & Karneet and you can scroll down to see some of our favourite pictures from the 4 days celebrations :)

Nothing beats a Telugu wedding filled with pretty colourful details.

This Bengaluru wedding across Taj West End and JW Marriott Hotel was all about these little things - ah, such memories! The first thing you notice is the Mehendi - the pretty floral jewellery, the origami flowers, the pink silk tassels and the sheer drapes. Matched with the Mehendi decor was the bride’s pastel and lemon yellow Anushree Reddy Lehenga. When it was time for the vows and pheras, we couldn’t help but gasp at the delicate Sabyasachi bridal sari, made of Kanjeevaram silk. With gorgeous diamond jewellery the bride looked like royalty. The mandap was bang in the middle of the woods under a canopy of greenery decorated with white flowers

When it was time for the vows and pheras, we couldn’t help but gasp at the delicate Sabyasachi bridal sari, made of Kanjeevaram silk. With gorgeous diamond jewellery the bride looked like royalty. The mandap was bang in the middle of the woods under a canopy of greenery decorated with white flowers.

Our favourite part was of course, the Reception that was styled to be a three-in-one soiree - a Sangeet, a Cocktails Event and a Reception. While the bride sashayed in a moss green Sabyasachi Lehenga dress with a pop of red lipstick, it was the groom who stunned everyone with his simple, yet refined suit. The stage was a veil of white and it looked so very picturesque.
